Majekodunmi Fasheke, Popularly known as Majek Fashek died in a New York hospital, after battling an undisclosed illness.

The Reggae Legend who was best known for his 1988 project entitled “Prisoner of conscience” which included multiple award-winning single “Send Down The Rain” which gave birth to the name Rain maker.

Majek will live in the hearts of all of us because he was not just an artiste but also an activist who fought with his music, for the rights of the all. And also addressed a lot of ills in our society.

His death was announced by his manager on Majek’s official Instagram handle, and this is how it was announced.
